The last time I posted here, I mentioned Brene Brown and her TED talk on courage and vulnerability. I LOVED that talk...in fact, it left me hungry for more so I bought several Brene Brown books.
And then, Lent and Easter found me extraordinarily busy...happy but busy. I was so busy and unwilling to slow down, in fact, that I did not read the books I bought. And I actually ignored Brene Brown's second TED talk when it found me....I ignored it twice actually. I WANTED to watch it but I was too busy.
And then, this morning, my new iMac froze up. Mike patiently helped me close all the various windows and sites and tabs and pages I unknowingly had running and then he helped me restart my computer. When the iMac booted back up, I heard Brene Brown's voice coming from seemingly nowhere. So I put myself in time out and I listened...and then when Michael wandered into my space, I asked him to stop and listen too. We are both glad we did.
Brene Brown has a wonderful perspective on courage, vulnerability and particularly, shame. You might THINK you aren't interested in these things but I have a sneaking suspicion you might be. Dr. Brown is also quite humorous. If you have not watched her TED talks, I recommend them highly to you.

I hope you will post comments, if anything stands out for you. I would also love it if you would share your favorite TED talks!
Peace,
